13 Irish Lads - 21-28 Jul

Hi all,

13 of us heading off to PDI on 21st Jul.
What are the best clubs to visit??
Was in Ibiza last yea, so my expectations are high!!:D

Anyone want to meet up with us for a session??

well there are 7 of us ladies going from 14th til 24th so we will be about for the first few days of your hol, ive been around 8 times and lady c who is also on the board and my best mate has been 6 but we have a few new people with us too.

pdi is not a clubbing place so to speak there are loads of bars most of which stay open until around 4-5 am in the summer months, its mainly rnb and we love china whites, zig zags and rogers but theres also dance about try hippodrome and scandic. there are some clubs that stay open til around 7am such as cream which ive only been in once as its dance music and im nto a fan. the irish centre is also great for night life. best thing to do is try a few recommended places til you get used to pdi then wander round and just go and see what other places you like

only 2 of us 27 & 28, God I feel really old now!!:cry:

Oh dear what can i say.

Watch out for the touts at the entrance to bars...they say they will get your drinks for you but come back with double drinks and add ons you didnt want and then charge you a fortune.

Also...stay away from the Irish Center.....its a dirty and disgusting hole that needs ripped down and rebuilt.

If you think PDI will be anywhere as good as Ibzia then im sorry but you are in for a shock

hey dont take notice of paul, you get touts in most resort round the globe and i have never been ripped off (apart from on a pub crawl) in the 8 times ive beenn to pdi.

paul has had a bad experience while in pdi and to be fair i did in lloret de mar but i would go slagging it at every opportunity, if you dont like something then dont go back simple as. different people like different things and you need to formulate your opinion on whether you like it or not and where you prefer to go and which bar you like! i have never fancied going to ibiza as its not my scene at all but its often the company you keep on hol not the place you go that makes it!

I think the fact that theres 13 of us should make up for it anyway.
A good laugh with lively nights & Im happy.

As you know, us Irish just need plenty of drink to keep us content :-)

All i have done is to warn him of touts (which we all know try and take you for a ride).

yes agree with these words fair comment but have to say in its heyday ibiza was the place for the craic but not any more as for touts tell me a holiday resort where there are not any.
a holiday is only what you make it if you want fun and laughter then thats what you will have but!! if you go to find fauts or let silly thigs get on top of you then a holiday from hell is what you will have. in reality the choice is yours

i have to agree with one thing paul said the irish center does need to b ripped down its old and outdated, was djing there for 6 summers and the craic was mighty there though and met loads of sound people thats what it has going for it.......enjoy ur holiday

no one was making paul an outcast in the slightest i think in its sometimes the way things are worded in the posts, there is a difference between slaggin something off and constructive critism. Everyone is entitled there own opinion on everything and as you have we have voiced ours too.

As said holidays are what you make them, i do think it often is the compnay you keep but sometimes something can be so bad that it turns into a hol from hell i had this in salou but never in pdi. you will have a good hol, like the others have said pdi isnt like ibiza from what my friends have said who have been to both, it prob isnt as busy and its diff music and not big clubs like there are there. but theres good sun, good places to eat, plenty of bars and loads of friendly people, the making of a good hol i say.

There are touts some people cant stand them others are bothered by them, ive personally never had any trouble or been ripped off by them, i often find if your polite they will be the same (obv you do get the few that arent) but they are only doing their job and it is a job that is paid little money too, i always try and remember that.
