Hi,
Can anyone recommend apartments in the Yumbo centre area of PDI for 2 adults + 2 children.I tried to book the Bueno Aires apts. but found these only accommodate a max. of 3 persons.I was also offered the Corona Blanco apartments but am unsure as to their location.
Thanks

Corona Blanca is situated on Ave de tenerife, close to the Kasbah and 5 minutes walk from the Yumbo.
You can read about it here:

And there are some reviews here:

try www.findmeaccom.com (http://www.findmeaccom.com), we booked a 2 bed apartment at santa clara for june, we have stayed here many times and its part way between kasbah and yumbo centres prob around 5-10 mins walk away from each and a few mins away from grand chapperal and jardin del sol. It cost us £280 for all four of us for 10 days so it works out at £70 each. There are some other options on there as well for 2 bedroomed places and you dont have to just do it via net you can ring them as well

Hello there,
Try SANTA BARBARA bungalows, they are really nice and are located in a quiet side street behind the Las Camelias international buffet just off Ave de Tirajana. This complex has 2 bedroomed bungalows that are well equipped with 5 small pools set in lovely gardens, kitchens even have microwaves. Yumbo centre is just a 5 min stroll away and there are a selection of bars/shops including a Spar just around the corner (2 mins).
Try www.getaresort.com (http://www.getaresort.com) for a price, as far as I can remember Thomsons use them for their package deals too.
Another complex that has 2 bedroomed bungalows is Santa Clara again very close to the Yumbo, as I have'nt stayed in these I won't comment but they should be O.K. I would certainly stay in Santa Barbara again, they have everything and are very well located. On the getaresort website use the language flag in the top right hand corner and find Santa Barbara in the bungalow search box on the left.
GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!

Thanks Big Tony.I have sent off an e-mail to them. Are these apartments located beside the Sunwing resort as I`m sure we went to have a look last year but did not get as far as looking at them as we were put off by the access road to them.Did we use the right access or were we in the wrong area. Thanks again..

As Owen has said you're thinking of Marbella Golf. Santa Barbara are just off one of the main roads running through the resort (Ave de Tirajana). It's about midway down the ave on the Maspalomas side of P.D.I.

If you click onto the G.Canaria home pages (top of this page) then onto maps, then streetplan of P.D.I. Santa Barbara bungalows are on ave Barcelona off Plaza de Teror almost next to the golfer on the map !!!!

For Eu33 a night you can get a bungalow that sleeps 5 / 6, 5 mins walk from the Yumbo. Check out www.bungalowslosporches.com (http://www.bungalowslosporches.com). You get a shared swimming pool between every 5 or 6 bungalows, they have fridges, cookers, shower and baths, toilet, bidet, tv and satellite tv in most, frass garden with table and chairs, american style diner / kitchen with breakfast bar, toaster, coffee maker, kettle. You also get a key to enter the site which is fenced off from outside visitors so its very safe.
I stay there all the time.
John
