Ambar Beach Resort & Spa...ok?

Hi,

My daughter and her boyfriend have booked AI at the Ambar Beach resort.

They are interested to know if anybody has stayed there....rooms ok etc.

Is it near to the beach, shops, harbour?

Any info would help.

Never been there but drove past it and it looks like a "very impressive resort" - probably as good/if not better than anything you'll get on any of the islands. Everything seems close and ultra-modern.

Would love to hear their feedback upon their return.

Hi Sandy,

Yes you are right. It is extremely impressive, super rooms, exceptionally clean etc etc.

HOWEVER...IT IS TOTALLY GERMAN.

It is German owned, the reps were German and laughed at my daughter when she approached them (they were young and daft) and all signs were in German.
As it was All Inclusive they managed to get by although they were not sure what they were eating on several occasions.

They decided to just enjoy themselves ..... beach, pool, food etc.

The worst part was that all the evening entertainment was...yes..you guessed, IN GERMAN !! Even the Magician!!!

So that has taught them a good lesson....research before booking!!!

Wonderful, beautiful hotel....if you are a fluent German speaker.
