It is easiest to book online. Go to www.iteuve.com (http://www.iteuve.com/) and click on "English" in the top right hand corner.

Do they speak English once you get there?? I have been told that you have to the Spanish terms for what they are asking you to do. Is that right???

Had a look at the website, you can only book it in Telde or Arinaga does anyone know if there is one closer?

Those are the closest places. Its quite obvious when you go, what you need to do and they are quite used to pointing and going brrrm brrm etc.
Its a very well organised affair, moving slowly along from one guy to the next who checks the next bit etc. First one checks the outside and you have to show indicators and windscreen wipers etc, then you drive over the bit where they check your brakes works - over those rollers, then over a pit where they check underneath etc. maybe i've said it in the wrong order, but you get the gist.
Iteuve is a huge franchised organisation.

Hi its a goverment run thing not like the UK were they can tut tut and add things on. There very good like Mary says its easy and if anything needs doing its 10 days, and you go back they give it the once over for no extra charge then they stamp it!! its quite cheap for the actual ITV.test.

If i remember right, i paid in the region of 24€ for a Jeep.

I went to Guia to have mine done, you dont have to have an appointment there. I didnt think my Jeep would make the ITV, but was suprised when it passed. BUT!!!! I was told that if i didnt speak any Spanish the next time round they would not give me the plaket:ohmy:

I think he was joking:dry:

Drive to Arinaga and when you see the Muelbels de Atlantico, just before there is a sign - take that turning and follow the signs . its near Grupo Barber
