Tiffany's in Puerto Rico main Commercial Centre is one of the best bars IMHO. Owned by Ellis and the lovely Janine and managed by the ever popular Bubbles ( daytime ) and Big John ( nights ).
Everyone is so friendly and always go that little bit out of their way to help make your holiday a memorable one....that's why more than a few of us on here, keep returning to Tiff's. When you're in there, if you need a haircut....just ask :laugh:

Just got back yesterday after 2 weeks. Due to bad weather, especially the first week, Tiff's saw more of my Euros than normal...when it rains there is only one place I head for....TIFF's
Bubbles was in his usual good form as was Big John and Ellis. Looking forward to my next trip already.
Got Bubbles on the camera. Once I get time to transfer them on to the PC, I'll fire them off to Rab to post on his site.

Hi you's lot!! Long time no speak. Me and Alkie where out there begining of Feb and had a fab nite out for Ellis's Birthday. We ate in a wonderful little resteraunt in agua la perra and managed to get through about 16 bottles of wine!!!! Not like us at all:boozy: . Mind you there was Ellis n Janine John n Emma and my mates Tony n Katie. But John doesnt drink wine so he was on the heiniken(Good man more for us!) lol. anyway thanks to the above mentioned for a lovely nite. Hope ur all well:D .

Despite previous threads, after speaking to my good friend Caroline (Tiff's regulars will know her) Kevs back. Turns out Kev only went home to take care of personal business and his row with John was just as routine as ever. Big John has indeed now left the island and has set up home in Norwich with his lovely partner Emma. I've today sent Rab photos of his final shift along with a couple of his leaving bash. We wish them all the best with their future together. They have ambitions of eventually trying life down under in Australia, did you know that John is actually a trained chef and may well fall back into the catering trade.

Hi ya guys,

I've just been reading this thread and its nice to recognise quite a few names. Big John and I are great and are more than happy with our move back to the UK. We settled in quite quickly. Johns working a 7am-5pm Mon to Fri job (nothing like what John was used to over the last 12 years) I'm working for a bank and loving it (very lucky, cause I also don't work weekends).

We went mad for the first 3 months of moving back here, because we did'nt realise how much we missed certain aspects (eg. goinig to the cinema)

We are looking at coming on holiday to PR later in the year, but it'll be a holiday ONLY. I'm sure John will enjoy sitting on the customer side of the bar.

Hello to all tiffs customers. Had a top time last month with everyone from berwick, cardiff, oakwood etc..... Cant wait to chase cars again in november when there will be about 25 of us from barry going fishing and again in february with the berwick crew. I was so sorry to here that Kev has passed on. He always had so much energy and always knew the words of all the records Steve played, even if he was tone deaf! His dancing was second to none! When ever he saw us he always made a big fuss and I'll always remember his big cheesy grin. When ever I thinks of Tiffs I always think of him as being part of the fixtures and fittings. I'll miss him as I know many will. My thoughts and prayers go to him and his family and friends. RIP

Me n Alk where over in PR 2wks ago and spoke n had a drink with kev. We met this amazingly strange guy when we first went out there on holiday in 1999. We became good friends when we moved there in 2003 and like to think we've tried to be a good friend since then. If you had never met this guy he was a great, happy, carefree person who would fit in anywhere and who was always great with tourists. He made us laugh many a time with his "HELLO DAVE" (Alkie's real mame!). Alkie always replied " ALRIGHT MARLENE!) we used to sit in the Crow's Nest n watch Only fools n Horses all night!!!! GOOD TIMES with a good man never to be forgotten. RIP mate, we'll miss u loads xxxx

Both myself and Teresa were saddened to hear the news about Kev, he always had a smile on his face and recognised you even if he hadn’t seen you for a couple of years. We will be over in June and it will seem strange not to bump into the little fella

Would just like to say RIP to Kevin. i'm one of the group of anglers who spend a weeks fishing in Puero Rico every November and we spend a lot of time and drink a lot in Tiffany's when we're there.
Used to see Kev on a lot of our trips out there and would often see him having a beer and would chat about Liverpool FC.

Just back from another trip spending most of my time in my favourite watering hole in P. Rico. First time stay in P.R. for my youngest son although he's had many trips to P.D.I. He just like me took fondly to the place and loved the great humour and friendly banter as did his family that travelled with him. Ellis is now on his annual holiday in the U.S.A. for the next few months, but the lads are doing a great job without him. See you all soon hopefully !!!!!
