HI, sorry cant provide any pics but i stayed at these apartments last June and i have to say they are they best apts i'v stayed in....that nice we have booked to go back in July!!!! We stayed in a one bed apartment, it had a twin room with built in wardrobes admittdly there wasnt a great deal of floor space in the bedroom but the beds were massive and being girls we had huge suitcases! haha! In the 'lounge area' is a sofa with pullout camp bed, coffee table, a pay t.v with more storage space which came in handy for our shoes! The kitchen was well equipped, 2 hobs, kettle, microwave etc. Our apartment balcony was facing the main road which was no problem at all, great to sit out and have a drink before we went out! The bathrooms were really nice and clean, they have power showers and we never ran out of hot water, (in some other bungalows we stayed in we had to wait between showers for the tank to fill up). Overall we were really impressed with these apartments, they have good sun loungers, a nice pool, pool bar that serves snacks and a bar which plays music round the pool all day! We had a fab time there and i would recommend these apts to anyone!!! Hope this helps! xx

Hi !!
Completley agree with Ladyc !! We have stayed at the Liberty twice now and booked for July 2007 again !!
Its clean, tidy, good facilities in the rooms, air conditioning and even a microwave !! (Not that we have ever used it tee hee) The Liberty is better than any other standard accomodation we have stayed in, in PDI - we been there about 6 times now.
The rooms are cleaned daily, but what we love is the cleaners do not come in too early either :nodding:
Overall, its a great place to stay, the staff are friendly, there is a nice feel about the apartments and the pool area is great.
Do not worry if you have an Inland view either as opposed to the swimming pool - the main road is busy, but once in the Apartment with windows shut, you dont hear a thing !!
Might see you in July !! We are going on the 13th for 15 Nights !! Have a fab time

Can only agree with whats been said before. I stayed there in early October 06 based on the great write ups it had since the refurb. Best apartments i'd stayed in abroad. In fact, i've found my review i wrote at the time, here it is
These apartments have recently been renovated and you can certainly tell. The apartments are very spacious, tastefully decorated and the best I have stayed in whilst abroad.
The location is on a main road but don't let that bother you. The entrance is via a small shop front size doorway into a tiny reception. It has 6 floors, levels 1 to 4 for apartments, ground floor on street level with reception and a lower floor where you access the pool.
We were on the 4th floor in room 418, easily accessed by two lifts or the stairs if you felt fit. The whole complex was spotless.
The apartment had a large open plan living room with settee, cabinets, tv and decent kitchenette which had fridge, microwave, hob, toaster, kettle, cutlery, pots and pans. The bedroom was seperate with twin beds pushed together and a wardrobe with electronic safe inside which you pay ?25 for from reception, ?10 of which you get back on departure. The bathroom was a decent size with a large walk in shower which was fantastic.
The tv had 9 free channels of which 6 were spanish plus The Vault music channel, Sky News and another that escapes me. There were 9 others which you paid for at ?1 for an hours viewing but you could put as little as 10 cents in for 6 minutes if you wanted. The extra channels inclusing Sky One, BBC1, ITV1 (Central West region), Eurosport, a few others plus an adult channel which I believe was only viewable in the early hours of the morning.
Patio doors and window led onto the balcony which was of ample size with table and chairs. Our room was facing the main road but it was no problem and in early evening the sun was facing these road facing apartments after it had left the pool side so you can get another hour or twos sunbathing on your balcony if you so desired. When the doors and windows (also one in the bedroom) were shut you couldn't hear a thing from the road so sleep was not affected.
Their were two ceiling fans, one in the living room and another in the bedroom which did enough to cool the room down enough to be able to sleep comfortably enough.
The pool was a decent size although not heated so despite the 35+ heat we experienced on a couple of the days we were there it still took a while to warm yourself up when in the pool. It also has a little jacuzzi pool next to the main one. The loungers were plentiful and in keeping with the recent renovation were brand new and a nice wicker style rather than the cacky uncomfortable plastic ones you get in most places.
The pool bar was open as long as the pool was until 8pm and served the usual array of soft and alcoholic drinks as well as bar snacks such as hot dogs, toasties, chips etc. The food was passable and we ate there a couple of times but with the location of the hotel you can take a 200 yard walk out and have your choice of a mass of places to eat.
The location was smack between the Yumbo and Gran Chaparrel but far enough away from each for you not to hear them. I'd say it was a nice 15 stroll to the irish cenre and kasbah/metro/plaza and being on the main avenida de tirjana you had a one long road to stroll down full of bars and restaurants if you wanted to avoid he main centres. The Cita was a 20 minute walk away as was the beach.
All in all a superb complex at a very cheap price, we only paid £235 for flights and accomodation through Sunmaster, all we had to pay for was our transfers to/from the airport which averaged at ?35 per journey.
We'll definitely be going again.
A superb resort with so much to do at night you never have to do the same thing twice. You can visit the Yumbo, Kasbah, Metro, Plaza, Gran Chaparrel, Irish Centre, Beach Front or visit a mass of bars and restaurants away from he main centres such as on the avenida de tirjana which is full of them all the way from the top of the resort to the beach.
The beach is fantastic but as always can get quite windy and give you a sand tan in no time so be careful on windy days.
This is a resort I love and will continue to go back to as long as finances allow.

Harry's a good mate of mine, went to see him at Xmas but his place was shut. Asked where he was in the camera shop next door, they said he was on holiday. I'de guess he was off looking for somewhere else to live. He's a very well travelled man with other business interests all over the globe. If I remember correctly he was thinking of going to Dubai. He'de already closed his place in the Chaperral centre and also closed one half of his place under the Liberty.

Yes Chaperrel was where we knew him and were looking forward to eating at the one under Liberty a few times, but yes I recall he was looking at moving, never mind, will just look forward to the weather then.

Just sorted the next trip for 15th to 22nd October, can't wait. Worked out cheaper than last year to by some way, got the hotel with Medhotels and the flights and transfers with Thomsonfly and only cost £248 each which i thought was very reasonable.
Last year it cost us almost £300 each through Sunmaster and then another £30 each way for taxi transfers so around £330 each in total. I don't like using tour operator transfer buses but when i booked the flights with them it only worked out £15 each for return journeys to Playa so don't mind waiting a little while longer to get to the Liberty for the sake of saving another £30 or so quid.

hi there me and my girls are there in july also, we stayed at the liberty for the first time last year as we normally stay at the santa clare or santa fe bungalows but we couldnt due to renovations. prior to going i wasnt happy about it as i preferred the privacy of bungalows but oncei got there the liberty is by far the best accom ive stayed in pdi.
the rooms are an excellent size with big bathrooms and its the only place i have ever had hot running water for the full length of the shower no matter what time of day! the kitchen is well equipped with microwave and hobs and plenty of utensils and a toaster. there is a shop, bar and restaurant on site, the staff are friendly and helpful, the pools a good size and the sunbeds are fab.
its in a good location with plenty of places to eat nearby, its about 5 mins from yumbo and a good 10-15 min walk down to kasbah and irish centre. on an evenign its easy enough to flag down a taxi to where you want to go. im sorry i dotn have any pics for you to see but is by far the best accom we have been and we wouldnt go again if it wasnt

What photos are you exactly after? I've sent you photos of the building itself, pool area from by pool side and from up high, view from the front and back facing apartments and photos of the apartment living quarters, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
