Visa's and residency in GC

Hey all!
I'm coming over to GC for 2 months starting this July, to work..... i've already got the job, in a hotel, and i wondered if i would need any visas etc, if i were to come for this length of time.
First job i've ever had abroad, so i'm absolutely clueless about it all!

I presume you are from the Uk or an EU country. Initally you dont need anything - visa etc, just a valid passport. If you were planning on buying a car or house, then you would need a NIE - residents card.
If your job gives you a contract, then they'll sort out a social security number or at least tell you how to do it. This entitles you to NHS care.
Get a EHIC - european health card from the UK government website - this will cover you for emergency medical help.

i'm from england, so all what you say sounds about right! i won't be buying a car or home - i can barely afford to rent!!!!!
