Rumours Bar? Whats happened?

Was over in PR last week, went by Rumours a couple of times,saw they were always empty.
We went in on our last night and discovered why, no local cheap beer and nothing going on, no quizzes etc.
We were regular customers there last year when Sandy ran it but don`t think we`ll be using it any more. (Just my opinion.)

we are now in benidorm, browsing potential new rumours as we speak.

hi sandie sorry to hear ur not in pr anymore.believe rumours has changed hands twice since you left.it was a glasgow couple when we were in last sept.used to go in to watch the footy cause u couldnt get in the highlander.only thing i didnt like they used to open up about 7 but they still had the quiz etc.hope your new place does well sandie.tell your family i was asking for them.:thumb:

Just back from PR and spent a bit of time in Rumours. John and Liz are a nice couple and can't do enough for you. However the bar is struggling, I think they're finding it a bit difficult to re-establish it.
Quiz's and Karaoke still do go ahead, (when there's enough people in), and they also sell San Miguel now for 1 euro a pint and Tennents for 2 euro, making it a cheaper alternative to the Highlander for all you Scots footie fans.
They're working hard to make a success of it and I for one hope they do.:boozy:

Found him to be a genuine bloke and a good laugh. No website at the moment but it's on the agenda.

ok cheers m8.yes hes a top bloke but dont think his wife was to happy with the state he got in!well if he gonna drink wi the big boys.no seriously can concur with fergie they are a very nice couple and deserve a wee bit of support!will certainly pop in and see them in sept.
