Heard a rumour that Terry had left Wembleys, perhaps somebody could enlighten us

We were up there last Saturday & Terry was not there. The wheel of fortune has gone & all the other bits & pieces. The only thing left behind were the white socks. As I previously mentioned(before we were so rudely interrupted) Terry left on 10/12/2005.
When we were there in November the acts had been cancelled - It was quiet - but sadly without Terry it is going to be very quiet.

Such a shame he has gone.I agree that wemblys will not be the same without him. We will miss the fun and laughter he brought to the place. He WAS Wemblys.Any ideas if he is still working on the island?
Suffice to say,we will still have a great time in GC.

That kind of makes this a bit out of date then:sadguy:

We were up that way again today & noticed that the only thing advertised is TV programmes 2nite. A drag show either tomorrow or Boxing Day. If I can find out anything more I will let you know.

This link http://www.wemblysbar.com/dj.htm is now advertising the new DJ, but if you place your mouse pointer over "DJ" it still says it's a link to Terry's home page!
Does anyone know anything about Abi, and how is Wembleys doing without Terry?

We went in on Xmas Eve -because we wanted to see the Little Britain Xmas Special. The picture was breaking up so they turned it off. The new DJ came on & he was pathetic. I will not go in there again. There are too many places that are far superior & drinks are cheaper. Would have willingly paid the extra few euros for Terry's patter but Abi - nil points!!!!

He is in the Moonlight Bar at Holiday World. But up to last week it was only 2 nights a week & I am sorry I can't remember what nights.
Send him my regards when you see him. We will be back out at the end of the month.

Hello to anyone unaware of Terry`s further developments. I have been told from reliable sources that things are looking up for the big fella.Apparently he is also going to supervising the running of the kitchen in the Moonlight bar as well as doing the entertainment,so it looks like he may be there full time,(employment of a chef permitting!)
I`m sure everyone who knows Terry will be hoping,as i do,that this will be the turning point for him and wish him luck in his new venture>

This is an old thread....are you asking which DJ was being referred to in 2-islandangies post?

As I remember (forgive me if these aren't totally accurate), when Terry Bull left, Abs (or Abi) took over, (who I think is being reffered to in the post from January 2006) then there was Jimmy for a short time, followed by Johnny Burns, who left in May this year, to be replaced by the current DJ, Ray, who is currently doing a wonderful job, and is proving to be extremely popular (especially with the ladies!)
