If you pop in the Paradise tatoo bar on Amadores in the afternoon have a word with Lynn I'm sure they'll sort out whatever you want. Her husband's handywork can be seen all over her. His name is Brian and the studio is now down in P.Mogan, transport will be free!!!

its the where and the why of the tatoo im aprehensive of to be honest.

I want to get and allergy alert tatoo so I dont have to wear my braclet all the time. was going to get it on my wrist. I'll have to design it and have an idea ready before I go out etc.

just cant decide do I want the tatoo on my wrist

get a second opinion on the wording of the tattoo steve, just in case.
i had a small birth sign done in ibiza, then had it surrounded by a sun just over a year ago.
now the sun always shines on me.

There are a few ink shops in the commercial centre. i would suggest you go in to them all and have a chat with the guys have a look at their work and discuss what your thinking about.

just got another one last saturday on my foot, its still sore. :p

allergy alert is a good idea but will the nurses etc recognise that it is an alert and not just a pretty pattern. The bracelets are easily recognizable - essential in an emergency. When you are trying to save a life, you dont need to be trying to figure out if this tattoo is important info or just the usual picture etc.

And if you change your mind, its difficult to remove - especially on a area like a wrist where there isnt much skin

A.E.

Instead of getting it round your wrist like a braclet just get something done on the inside of your wrist that way it wont always be seen. will be painful though lol

Have it checked out Steve. Apparently, this Sheffield guy we met on holiday had his Japanese name tattooed on his forearm, the word they actually used was like the Japenese for ****. Very fitting too I might add if you are looking Ben!!!

I've heard it is quite painful in areas on the body where there is no or not much fat.

I would like some tatooes too but I'd like it to have great meaning to me. And be sure of it. A symbol or word that means and ALWAYS will mean a geat deal to you.

I have severe allergies too.. Is it safe to get a tatooe then?
What's the ink made of?

Most inks are water based with dye added. You would be best asking in the tattoo shop and may having a pin prick with the ink and see if you re-act. It will all depend on what you are allergic too.

As for the pain I have numerous tattoos. All of them were painful especially the one on my tummy which has lots of fat!!!! It all depends on your pain threshold. On the spine is very very painful. Take a couple of painkillers before you go, it helps.

Maybe I should think twice when I'm so extremely allergic..especially when I wanted to use the colour red.
