We will be visiting Puerto Rico for one week in January. We are thinking of hiring a car for the week (collect & drop off at airport).

1. Will the roads be busy in January?

2. We will be staying at Inagua, 4Los Pechos-Urb, Agualaperra. Will it be difficult to park in this area?

3. Does anyone have good directions to above?

Thanks in advance.

Once the Xmas period is over (post Jan 6 ) things will be quieter on the roads in general around P. Rico. Straight drive down from airport on the G.C.1 motorway south (SUR). Should take you about 45 mins, no problem parking around the Aqua la Perra area, in fact I'll be there myself during January and will also have a car from the airport.

That's a great map for anyone on foot but not for a driver.

I agree its not a good map for directions - but it does show where all the apartments are.

As Russ says turn off motorway at Arguineguin and then follow the wiggly coast road. There is only one tunnel on that road and turn off straight after it towards Agua de la Perra. The follow the road up and up, past Miami Beach, Peņamar - Inagua is up near the top.

Sorry Russ - just made your directions a little clearer. Didnt want them to be trying find arguinipig!!
