Christmas and New Year

We will be in Puerto de Mogan over Xmas and New Year. Does anyone know if there are bars with pools in the area as we do not have a pool at our apartments? I know there is the beach but just for a change - if it is warm enough. Also what happens in the evenings there at the that time of year or is it early to bed for us?:boozy:

No bars with pools as far as I am aware. You might be able to wander into the bigger hotels i.e. Cordial but am not sure - you may not get away with that. Maybe Mary might know when she reads the post.

Bars still open on a night but its not a rowdy resort even in the height of summer - its more chilled and sedate. You could always grab a bus to Puerto Rico for a couple of euros and then get a cab back late at night (about 14 euros last time we got one)

Theres the hotel on the sea but you cant use their pool. The cordial has a pool and some hotels let you use their pool if you pay for the day or have lunch there

Thanks Chorlton and Mary. Quite happy to pay for drinks etc it we can lie by a pool. Don't think we will go in. Also happy for quiet resort age range is 23 - 67. 10 of us in total so we have our own entertainment. Just pleased to know there will be places to go in the evening.
