Hi shaz.may i recommend "la rosa amarilla" in the Gran Chapparal (PDI) for a good meal at very reasonable prices. With pleasant surroundings and quality food you cant go wrong :thumb: . Depending on your age,the Kasbah centre has plenty of good bars as does the Irish centre in pdi.
Hope this helps and you have a great time :boozy:

:boozy: No one is too old in GC! It all depends on how old your mind is; if you think you're old then you will be old.
I say you're only old as the woman you feel!

god your not too old to be in kasbah!!! just depends on what sort of music you like, i would say that the majority are rnb or dance places and they are very much like clubs over here as opposed what we would call a pub or a bar. If you want somewhere a bit more relaxed then there is big bens in jardin del sol which is just down from the gran chaperral, they do happy hour where its 2 euros a pint and they have food too, they do the best fry ups!!! also you could try the irish centre keanes bar is quite good, also you could try pacha near the kasbah and there is the sahara beach bar near the beach (its at the bottom of the stone steps) i havent tried it on a night but during the day they do food serve relatively cheap drinks and sometimes do bbqs, it also has a pool (its an open air bar).
In terms of restaurants we like big bens, the chinese restaurant near beckhams bar in the kasbah, el gaucho near the kasbah, el carreton near santa fe bungalows and the italian place under the iguazu appartements to name a few. hope it helps

For food I highly recommend the Slow Boat to China buffet restaurant, ground floor in the Yumbo center. Amazing choice of dishes, always replenished and hot food, really nice staff and 7 euros for all you can eat.
