La Penita Apartments - Puerto del Carmen

Hello!

I am going to Lanzarote for a week in November!

Has any one stayed at La Penita apartments? I've read really good reviews on them, but the reviews are a bit old.

How is their location in PDC? Also, will the pool be cold at that time of year?

There is a lot of info and pics on this thread which i posted previously , http://www.canaryforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2348 including location and a map the pics are from June , i havent been but will be definately using them when i go back to PDC ,

AS FOR THE POOL most are not heated and are quite cold in fact freezing initially but after the sudden shock its ok , i have been in November , December and Jan and always gne in the pool , BUT AS I SAID ITS BLOODY FREEZING to start with

but unfortunately we have left it too late to book with la penita and they are all gone.... :(

we are gutted...


but now we are looking at the Playa Club apartments... Any opinion on them?

Not been in them but a freind of mine stayed tere a few years ago with his family and he says they were very good , not far from the main strip

there are reviews on all teh sites but tey vary here are some photos http://lanzarote.playa-club-apartementos.tobook.com/Spain/Hotels/Playa-Club-Apartementos/Photos?arrivaldate=10/27/06&citypname=Lanzarote&depdate=10/30/06 even thou its just off the main strip it isnt noticeable in teh noise levels later in the night
