Hi you all. Phew! All this house/accommodation viewing finally over. I have bought! Renting until May, though. And a car as well. Where I come from, buying a car takes about 15 minutes if you have a card or cash. Here, it has taken almost 2 weeks. Now I will have to see how long it takes to finish the sale of the house.
I am a bit worried that I can not remember the name of an agency which was mentioned in here somewhere (on this site) and a woman called me up last Friday and we decided to meet and she would show me what she had next Friday, but now I have bought. So I cannot let her know. If anyone (Mary, did you reccomend somebody?) knows the name, something to do with heaven or angels or something divine, I seem to remember  Please let me know. I am still waiting for a phone line but manana and manana, o.k. we will see. Until then I am using the noisy Internet cafés or recreation halls, rather.
Looking forwards to be in touch properly soon again,
Eva

Was it Sheena or Julie from Canary property market?

Libbyo :)

Gosh cant think of anything to do with angels etc. As Libbyo said - sheena and Julie from Canary property. The others are Properties abroad, Cardenas, Horizon, Interealty.
I've looked back at some of your posts and www.canary-property.com (http://www.canary-property.com) keeps coming up. As Julie says - canary property appreciation society is up and running well.

In my experience, if the house purchase is straight forward then time wise its much quicker than in the UK.

So, come on, let us all know - what did you buy, who with, where etc etc

Thanks for the suggestions. I suppose I will have to meet this lady (Laurie???) in Shopping centre Faro 2 at 2 p.m. next Friday (in case she is reading this, she is obviously English).

Anyway, I bought in Tauro, 2 bedroom bungalow, private terrace/garden and swimming pool. Lovely environment, quiet and hopefully stays so, they are building a lot down nearer the motorway. Moving in April. Can`t wait!

I go to Puerto Rico quite often and mainly because of a heavenly desert in an Italian restaurant downstairs, the desert starts with a Z, but I can not remember the full name :p

My last visit though was not too good, although the ending was absolutely unbelievable! I forgot my handbag with all my documents and cards and money on the back of a chair in the Internet place, came home in Maspalomas and found out! We rushed back, and almost an hour later it was still there! Is there something up there, do you think?

(...lost my credit card today along with 50 euros, though! Maybe all this moving, selling and buying business is turning me into a nervous wreck):embarassed:

Hi, my parents are looking at properties (inernet)to buy out there, and cannot remember the name of the estate agent who has an apartment in Puerto Novo for sale, there is a big board advertising outside the apartment( on the main road), big favour to ask, if anyone is passing that direction if they could take the name of this agent on pop it on this site, I would really appreciate it, thanks in advance.

They are ideally looking for Puerto Rico, 2/3 bed apartment or house on the ground level, I don't think they have considered Tauro, but I will speak to them about this and get back to you. I agree with you I also think they are mad giving up that sun!
