Hi
I’ve been reading on your forum for a couple of weeks and it seems to me that you know more or less everything that goes on in (Puerto) Mogan. I was wondering if I could ask for some help?
Me and my girlfriend and our 12 weeks old daughter is heading for GC and Puerto Mogan towards the end of this month and need a place to stay. We would like to rent an apartment close to the harbour and it needs to be equipped with a washing machine. We plan on staying for five weeks and are leaving on the 1. Dec.

We have one possibility in one of the apartment in the Westhill, but it’s not confirmed yet. I haven’t seen any pictures from the out side of the westhill apartment complex, do you know where I can find that. Is Westhill the same as Filini (or something).

Sorry for the long posting and a lot of questions, would be grateful if anyone knew about s good place to stay.

My parents are staying in Puerto Mogan at the mo'. The apartments they've stayed in havent had washing machines but all apartments are different - they booked theirs through barmarina in puerto mogan.
Alternatively you can try la venezia http://www.alpharooms.com/la_venecia_de_canarias_in_gran_canaria.aspx?r=TD
or www.costa-mogan.com (http://www.costa-mogan.com) or www.elsiroco.com (http://www.elsiroco.com) (not sure if the last link is correct)

Westhill is literally on the west hill http://www.secretdestinations.com/show_property.php?property_ref=GCA006

Apparently there's a lift down, but that isn't mentioned on this site.

Try http://www.barmarina-mogan.com/ and stipulate what you need.

As we seem to hear so little of puerto mogan i would like to say we have just returned from a really enjoyable three weeks. my daughter and her family actualllly live in P.R.but not being a couple for bright lights and nightclubs P.M.was our choice.the first fortnight was great for jazz lovers every evening 7.30 to 11 in the square near bar Marina.People came from far and wide to eat and listen and jive to "The heart of England jazz band"can i recommend four resturants,Canario patio,Confradia Pescadores(the fishing boats side of the habour) lastly the uniqueLa Bodeguilla juanana in the square. We hope you will enjoy PM as much as we did,we are back in feb.away from the english winter:)

We booked with bar marina but there is also owners direct who rent their own aparts. - but very few tour operators seem to have a stake in puerto mogan. You can try www.alpharooms.com (http://www.alpharooms.com) for puerto mogan or elsewhere, if you want self catering.
good luck anne
