DJ Johny's brother Domingo provides the pool bar entertainment at these apartments.
Never been in the apartments but have a nice reception area and a nice big pool.

Hi,
used to live in Inverness, was there most of my life but decided i prefered the city life now.Edinburgh is much better although i could do without the heavy traffic on my way to work(will take a bit of getting used to).
We are off on monday, can't wait!
Need some sunshine and some Pinacolada's lol....

hi havent stayed there before but i think its a apartment block not a hotel. think its up on a high level you would need a taxi back up from the flat, loads of steps to it.

Castillo de Sol overlooks the main Commercial Centre, about 180 steps up from the road. It is a good base for anyone wanting basic facilities, maids 5 times a week, slot TV, friendly pool bar with reasonably priced snacks. Pool not heated, but not a problem in July. Sun in the afternoon so a high floor will get sun until very late, balconies reasonable size. OK budget apartment block.

i stayed here a few years ago,
well situated for CC, steps down ok, steps up were a killer, but very doable, although we taxied back up most nights,
they were budget, but large and clean, and have an amusing gnome garden out the back.

Take sterling with you and change it in Christina's by the taxi rank in the main centre, rate is up to €1-50 to the pound. If you have a NATIONWIDE account use Caja canarias cashpoints, no commision at all and rate in Jan was €1-52 to the pound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
