Before we "lost the forum" last year I asked about an English Speaking Dentist & 2 members reccommended the same one.-As luck would have it I had written it down. Today my husband visited Dr Heidi Sorenson in El Tablero - He doesn't remember ever having such a thorough check up on his teeth. Thank you whoever it was - I think it might have been Mary & Tim.GC.
:thankyou:

NHS Dentists in the UK & particularly the Isle of Wight are very hard to find. OUr dentist in the UK has gone private.
It is hard to compare prices because we haven't been much recently but my husbands check up (a very thourough one) cost 20 euros + 4 X-RAYS at 12 euros each.
Heidi is Danish but speaks perfect English & she has a very proffesional approach. We would definitely reccommend.

That is cheap. Our dentist in Las Palmas charges 50 euros per consultation but x rays are 10 euros

Mary gave me her number, ages ago, when I needed treatment.
Heidi is FANTASTIC, for those who fear dentists, she is so confident, that you feel very safe and calm. Her treatment is superb.
Everything I've had done has been pain free, good and longlasting.
Now you've reminded me , Ange! I've not been for a wee while so should go for a check up!
As for price, I think she's reasonable, and don't remember paying anything near 700€.

It used to be Dr Heidi. She had a baby and realised she would prefer to be near her family in Copenhagen.
Dr Eddie has now taken over the practice. Same numbers

I direct alot of people to Dr Martin - as he is near us - for emergency treatment but I dont know how he is on long term treatment

He's c/Maragarita. El Tablero. If you know where the Brit supermarket BIG used to be, he's next door.
Or, come off the motorway at El tablero, roundabout with school in front of you, turn left - then its about 2nd or third turning on the right
