My wife and I will be returning to PR again in March staying at the Riu Vistimar again. This year is a bit special as she will be celebrating the big birthday after 40, What I'm looking for is a disco/club/bar or somewhere we can go to after a nice meal to round the night off and most importantly not feel our age too much. One place for the whole night to eat drink and dance would be great, although not too sure if there any.
cheers

We like the black and white bar in the comertial centre. Live piano music, all ages ( but for the teenagers!) El Gaitero in Agua La Perra for a fantastic meal, then wander round to the Commertail centre or grap a cab.

have a nice meal then head for the pubs like the bora bora.
can watch the young ones across the way.
get the good music and enjoy yourself, you are as young as you want to be.

Have to agree with Swifty, Bora Bora is a very nice bar to relax in after a meal. We head there when we are having a "take it easy" nite.

We have been to the Casino show twice & it really is a very stylish show. We are planning to go again next month. The Gourmet Menu is our preferred option- We have done both the Gourmet Option & the Show & 1 drink option & without a doubt the meal & show wins hands down.

You can eat, drink, dance and be entertained at the Barbacoa, depending on if you like who's on. Or have a good meal at Picassos and wander over. Tangos down in the park is a nightclub that's supposed to cater for an older clientelle, although I'm approaching the same birthday I found it a bit old for me when I wandered in there one night. Mind you, I haven't grown up yet!

Garbo's is a great night out. Either phone them directly or speak to a Thomson rep to book (the latter may cost more but you will be picked up and dropped off again). The show last year was The Rat Pack (I can post piccies if you're interested), but it wasn't as good as previous years.
