Gran Tinerfe

We are planning to visit Tenerife later this year (September). We are looking at the Costa Adeje area and in particular like the look of the Gran Tinerfe hotel. It looks like and nice hotel and the location looks good for easy access to different areas of bot Costa Adeje and PDLA. Can anyone tell me what this hotel is like and provide some further details of the area immediately surrounding the hotel?

never stayed at the hotel, but stay in the adeje area each time i have visited.
some very good restaurants down by puerto colon harbour.
also some nice bars around the harbour and towards the torviscas/fanabe area.
have a walk along the front towards fanabe and beyond, some lovely hotels and views.
