Hello All,
My name is alex and i'm 1 quarter of a cabaret called KASK. Were a new entertaining cabaret doing a great swing show with loads of songs and some great dancing. We are looking at setting up around the Canary Islands and anyone who has any info on bars clubs or hotels who would like a really entertaining cabaret show would be a great help. we would be willing to work for a very discounted price to start off with, so any info would be great.
Thanks
oor wullie

Hi Alex The obvious place to ask is the Barbacoa

Three Cabaret acts a night in a large venue. Get a spot here and the word will spread.. but you'll have to be good. I will remember the name and see you in March ...Good Luck

best advice is a holiday break and take a load of demo discs and photos around the hotels. maybe a few free shows to show your ability when across as oor wullie says barbacoa try them for a trial then at least you will know where you stand accomodation is another thing you have to take onboard as you will need a good central base to work from.
good luck

Im an Entertainer here in Puerto Rico ( Chloe Leigh ).Il be honest, you have to come over and do the work as no one will book you without seeing you 1st.You can drop in most bars and venues and ask to do a snippet or free show (they wont say no!)and once you get one booking ,the word will spread like wildfire and the rest will follow.
It involves going to every venue you want to be at and introduce yourself with posters,cd's ,dvd's , whatever you are using for your publicity.
The wages out here are not too impressive but obviously theres alot less work involved ie...carrying a PA around and light show ,setting up etc.
If there is 4 of you too i wouldn't expect to earn too much as the fees dont really go up just because there is more of you,you are better off as a solo artiste.
But i would say come here on a hol with ya music etc and have a look around before you take the plunge.
Alot of 'unfriendly' Competition goes off here as i found out when i arrived.
Im one of the friendly ones though lol:grin:
Good Luck
