My/Our Holiday Opinion:
We stay in Tamaran every time we go to Gran Canaria, which is 2-3 times a year. We love the place and don't want to go anywhere else for our holidays. The staff in Tamaran are very friendly. The bar food is excellent (tuna and ham and cheese toasties recomended).Tamaran is a couple of minutes walk from the Yumbo were we spend most of our evenings in Ricky's cabaret bar the shows are brilliant and are different every night Ricky, Tammy, Dina Mite and Andy Martine are so funny our jaws and sides ache with laughing. Can't wait to go back in September.

we arrived at our appartments at about 1.30 pm found the staff very friendly and we were in our rooms very quickly, no waiting about .the rooms were quite big compared to some weve stayed in with plenty of wardrobe space, but could of done with air conditioning we had to hire 2 fans as we were there during a sorrocan where the winds blow in from the sahara (very hot 148 celsius)also the rooms could of done with having more kitchen utensils no kettle or toaster or oven , just 2 small hot plates &a coffee maker.
the pool was very good with a small diving platform where we were entertained every tea time from a bunch of scottish lads with there daft dives lol.
we tried most of the centres and was ripped off in the kasbah &the irish centre they are round you like flies round you know what and 1 in the irish centre got offensive when we decided not to have a drink in the bar he was trying to get us into (very pushy) ,the best 1 we found was the chapparal centre wemblys bar the d.j was a scream but dont go if your easily offended he takes the mick out of every1.
we also liked the british bull pub with its brilliant food ,breakfast & sunday dinner recommended.stay away from the brittannia in the chapparal centre. we found the staff very rude we decided to eat next door at a dutch ladys pub she was a lovely friendly person WITH MANNERS. we tried benny hills and saw some good entertainment, hypnotists, lookalikes, comedians etc but thought the d.j. liked the sound of his own voice to much.the entertainment in wemblys was better.
we went to the beach every other day it has to be one of the best i have been to on hol the waves were fantastic. sunbeds at the beach cost 5 euros a day, we walked from playa del ingles beach to palm beach along the nudist beach it was a nice walk along the watersedge ,very cooling breeze &got a lovely tan, so we done it the other way round a couple of days later.
we had a very nice time &would go back again but found that it was very expensive take plenty spending money.

Hi to all,
If u have booked a holiday to the Tamaran appartments LUCKY YOU!!!!I am v.jealous!!!we had a great time, the hotel was lovely and all the staff were really friendly - couldn't ask for more!
The pool area was clean and there was enough space for everyone. For food there are loads of great value restaurants, and everywhere we ate the food was great, we recommend the chinese across the road, great food (lots of it) and not expensive!
The Yumbo centre and the Kasbah are musts!(just keep an eye on how much alcohol is put in drinks, the measures are larger than in england-its very easy to get drunk without realising). The info people are helpful and the taxis are really cheap even in the evenings.
Overall it was an amazing holiday and can't wait to go back this summer!
