Hi Everybody,

Travelling to PDI tomorrow for the first time, really looking forward to it. Hubby keen to get some diving in but I'm more interested in lazing round the pool with a cocktail or ten!!!

Seen that the weather forecast is mentioning rain, it better not ruddy rain, it's 35 degrees here in Germany and I was hoping for much of the same on my jollies :nodding: .

Staying at the Riu Waikiki, seen mixed reviews on the web but nothing on this site, anybody stayed there? Will leave a review when I return.

Bye for now.

Last week someone was panicking that they'd seen rain on the weather reports.
We havent seen rain for weeks and weeks and every day has been hot sunshine and blue skies. So dont worry and start thinking of your cocktails by the pool

I tend to ignore the weather reports for Gran Canaria as they are S0 wrong. I was listening online to Power FM GC on Tuesday and it was 43 degrees in Maspalomas. Pool - Cocktails - sounds good to me but remember to drink plenty of water as well.
Have a great holiday I'm sure you will not be disappointed.:have-fun:

Thanks you guys, I'm really looking forward to it.

Went to Calla Millor in Mallorca four times last year but after seeing the same shows over and over again and getting used to the routine I thought we needed a change.

I've heard you have a lot of drag artist shows in PDI, is that right? I love cabaret........

I agree with jonathan544...Cafe La Belle is FANTASTIC.Definitely the premier drag show on the Island.Went there a few years back but I believe it closed and was then reopened with new management to a different area of the Yumbo....is this right Canary Forumers?????

The one thing I would say is that (if the layout is still the same as it was) be careful where you sit(not at the front) if you don't want to be targeted for a ribbing by the artistes.......their comments about people in the audience are HILARIOUS to hear but a bit embarrassing when it is you they are on about!!!!!!

REALLY,REALLY GREAT SHOW THOUGH AND VERY FUNNY...:have-fun:

Im Irish too. Heading just after you on the 2nd Sept. 43 degrees would be too hot for me.

In the 30's would be great!
