Does anyone know how to change the four digit code you need to access some of the services if tou don't know what it is ? The previous owners choose a code and I don't know what it is so can't access any of these services like changing the answer machine message. Can Telefonica do this if I call them ?

have you tried 0000. I think that is the factory setting and not many people change it. Or if you ring 1004 or press the blue button on the phone - then ask to speak to english operator, they should tell you

You were right Mary - it was 0000 ! I was sure they would have changed it - I always change these standard codes, but I must be one of the few. Thanks again for your help !!

Hi Mary, New to this forum and would just like to say what a fantastic help your info on Telefonica has been to us. We did manage to get numbers on our phone that we wanted to store. When we first got the phone. But could you tell me how you delete numbers that are in your memory. As you know phones go missing and numbers change. Thanks again for the info.

Its so frustrating isnt it. You have this phone that is all singing and dancing and you cant do a thing with it.

To delete a phone book entry:
Bring up the entry on the screen, press the Borrar key (its on the panel on the left). In the viewer, it will say confirmar con 'hash sign'. Press the hash key to confirm or press desactivar/salir to exit.
