Mine and angies,= Pickwicks a very friendly bar run by two really nice ppl Carla and Pete , make sure you go to this bar and you wont be disapointed and also sign the canaryforum guest book, oh and try not to get the horrendous hangover I got when I tried to keep up with Russ and Andreya
laura's (15 year old daughter)= Bora Bora for the music and dancing, me and angie were ok with this bar as well as it has comfy seats not like the tall rock hard bar stools most of the music bars have ( that says summat about our age LOL)
The 3 of us= Guanabara park for the entertainment with Russ and andreya ( what a great voice she has):thankyou: and as mentioned in another post the barbacue.

Couldn't agree more about the comfy seats. My missus is so small she can't sit on the bar stools so that is the main criteria of us going into a bar or not....the chairs. sad innit ?

Just been in Harbour lights in the Passarella centre. Nice bar with a view of the harbour. Pool table and play station for the kids. Apparently during the day the balcony is full of guys waiting for the women to finish sun bathing!!

See. Thought you'd like it. You can sit in the bar and when the wife wants to go home, she can wave at you from the beach.
You can look after the kids in the bar where there is lots for them to do, keeping out of the sun.
Its in the Passerella centre - that small centre behind where Big Red is. Upstairs, next to the farmacia

Got a few faves....Catus Bar, its always nice to see Paco hopefully he will still be there in october. Tiffs, Harleys and Covent Garden. All time favorite has to be the Crazy Horse, Beck on tap in iced glasses and THE best view in PR, and you don't have to look through a window at it....can't think of anything better! Our appartments are two mins walk away but even if they were further it would still be worth it!

Not sure of the road name, walk past where all the busses stop and head up the hill (thats the downside!) towards the Puerto Plata complex. Keep going up past Mocanes and Puerto Sol apartments and its in a little cul - de - sac type thing about two mins past Puerto Sol. Theres also a mexican restaurant underneath it which is gorgeous. Sorry if the directions are sketchy but if you make it up there its well worth it!!!
