Just to let you all know there is a Cornish Pasty Shop opening in Puerto Rico soon..... The Pasties are being imported from St Ives in Cornwall so, yes they are "proper" Cornish Pasties. The shop is also going to sell a variety of other bakery goods to tempt you all.
Will keep you posted for that opening date........

Greggs head offices are in north manchester. They are all over Manchester. Very tasty too.Used to be the old (prices) shops /bakery
Then we have Wrights pies, in stoke on trent. Very sought after as well. (Kings foods here do those.)My man will be in for those as well as the cornish pastys.
And Hollands pies and puddings, Baxendale Not far from manchester
(Looks like you need to keep (everybody happy ) Redswanlady
Hollands pies and puddings are sold in chips shops,They are the best, and they also do frozen for supermarkets in packs of 8.Cant understand why they are not here yet,?They are the manchester folkes staple diet.

Well Ma Bakers is now open.
I have just finished off my sausage roll and Dr paul and i shared a small meat pasty. Absolutely delicious. Proper sausage rolls in lovely flaky pastry.
Unfortunately i now feel i've got to work my way through all the flavours - just in the name of research, you understand.
Good luck Redswan
Do we have weight watchers here yet, because i think i might need some help in a few weeks
crazimum
9th October 2006, 03:49 PM
You won't need weight watchers Mary, Just nip down and pick your pastys up and walk back up throu Rico, I'm sure that exercise would make the pasty worth while without the worries!
