I Have now managed to get my self to PR. I;m Staying at Guanabara park.
What I need to know is where is a cheap and cheraful place for something to eat. Went to some where down just off the beach, was ok, but they charged 3euro for coke for the kids, same price as beer!!
So where is a good place for somewhere to eat that you dont get ripped off with kids drinks??
thanks.

you are going to have a ball with the entertainer at the apartments, Russ will look after you, he's my little star.
There is a McDonalds on the road down to the beach which should keep the kids happy.

We found that if we asked for a coke or something similar, we would automatically be given a large one(like a pint) which tended to cost around €3.30.If you specified a small one it was roughly €2.30 (didn't last long with my kids though!)

In the past its been suggested that you ask for the drink with no ice - that wau you get more drink in the glass. Soft drinks are expensive it seems and near the beach its a captured market. You may get better prices if you wander up to the main commercial centres. Apart from that, most places do cater for kids well

Alternatively - grab yourself a cheap cool bag, take your own drinks to the beach and give them a drink just before you go for lunch - then you can just buy a small drink with lunch
