Scooter or moped hire

Hi folks ...im headin out to pdi next week with my bf and was wondering if anyone can tell me where is the best place with the best prices to hire mopeds or scotters??... thought this would be a better way to get around than hiring a car or taking the bus!! am i right?? would love to hear views on this ...cheers!!:nodding:

i would do any of the latter two, much safer than riding a scooter etc.
seen too many accidents and results of holidaymakers coming off the bikes, even quads.
walk or get the bus after drinking, a lot safer.

Id agree with Swifty. Walking/ bus around is safer. Car hire is cheapish. BUT there is a place opposite MC Donnalds in PR that hires scooters etc if thats any help.

Scooters for hire in pr - opposite Mc Donalds on the roadside - the bikes seem ok but be careful of everyone else on the road.
If you want to explore, speak to a taxi driver and see how much it would cost for a day or speak to Owen on this site. The mountain roads are very wiggly and what looks like a quick 10 minutes on the map could take you most of the day
Hiring a car for the odd day can be pricey. Bus' are good and reliable and cheap

Thax you guys for your info and advice...i might think twice about this now after reading the above ....as you say its the other ppl on the road....in saying that i think i might be ''that other road user'' as i have been known to crash a ''push bike'' in my time and that was b4 a few pints...maybe not eh?...owens car service sounds good. !!:thankyou:
