2 units along from Max`s is Bistro Salsa. A really great place to eat and drink. Fabulous food selection and quality premium beer. Definately a cut above the rest.

Hi Tessa,
We usually go to the restaurant called Anexo(think thats how its spelt) they do great paella, its cooked fresh daily and also octopus excellent if you like seafood.
It is a family run business and the staff are all very friendly.
We also go to the Restaurant Gran Canaria on the front in P.R opposite the Spar, they have good meat dishes and fish and all very good value. In the evenings they have a spanish guitar player playing for a few hours very enjoyable.
Staff are very friendly too.
Breakfasts are luuuuvly, go try one .....

Hi Tessa,
The one the locals recomended to us when we were over in Feb is called Las Caracolas.
It's on the PR end of the beach by the smaller stairs .Superb local fish, but you'll probably have to book a day B4.
Take a stroll past at lunchtime, and if you like the menu book for the following evening. We went back twice!!

Yep, Paradise Tatoo is a great place for those of you who like seriously spicey food. Be sure to ask for your own particular strengh, otherwise be warned hot, hot ,hot. Although the owners Lynne and Brian look quite intimidating with their fine array of tatoos, they're great people who work hard to present their excellent dishes. Their drink prices are very cheap, with both Carling and Strongbow at only 2-60 cents a pint!!!!!!

They are the couple who also have a bar in playa mogan (Paradise Tattoo)
i noticed there on the boards outside the cheap prices,(drinks wise ) they also have a tattoo parlour underground below the bar there, they are just past the spar shop on the walk down to the beach.
(Not a tattoo person myself but for those who like them,)
they have a notice in the window or rather a page out of a newspaper saying that they tattooed Ulrika Johnsons posterior And tattooed Billy Connolly as well although i dont know where?

Yes Shirley,
Brian has tatooed the celebrities you mention above, at his former studio in Windsor. When they moved out to G.C. the bar on Amadores was a tatoo studio, as they opened the bar alongside the studio it took over but they kept the same name. As they grew stronger they opened their second premises as you say down in P. Mogan. This is a cool little place away from heat on a sunny day. Would you believe that Brian is in his mid Sixties !!!!!!!!!!

Im not a drinker Tony so dont go in there but somebody did tell me that you can get a coffee in there as well as drink, One of the locals i think told me as she likes to go in to watch the football and as im not a football fan either well! But good for people then that cant get the time to get tattood in england, They can get one on holiday And if famous people go there ,must be safe then needle wise. You cant be too carefull these days.
