We stayed at the Aquacanis in Aug/Sept of 2005 and found it to be a very nice place indeed. Rab_c has photos on his web site so feel free to check them out of the Aquacanis.
Spacious and very clean basic apartments with very large balconies and EXCELLENT views.
Lots of sun loungers and umbrellas around the pool, Pool is a nice size and was ALWAYS clean - staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Manager Ramon went above and beyond to help us when we had a problem ( pseronal problem not relating to the apartments )
Yes there is a lot of steps and a steep climb up them if you are on the top floor like we were lol but you can request a pool side room and you will get it if available like we did :) we knew there was a steep hill leading up to the apartments so used this as an excuse to burn off all the fantastic meals you have on holiday lol
Excellent pool side bar serving quality food all day at reasonable prices.
Situated 15-20mins walk away from the hustle and bustle of PR but we really enjoyed the early evening strolls into the main centre.
5 mins stroll away from Rockys and the hot spot bar, and the oasis, el gaitro restaraunts which are super and must be tried!

If you are thinking of booking here i would definitely recommend
Have a great holiday !

We stayed here a while a go and loved it. But in reacent times have just been visiting. Public areas clean, staff great, views great. Nice place.
Quiet at night too. No noise from the CC or Europa.

hi david
last year they were advertising in the tips and info magazine dont know if they still are as the online version is slightly different.
but as you have email and phone details get in touch with them.
through my own experiences i have found it cheaper booking accomodation only through the likes of owen or a holiday company than going direct with the hotels.

Cheers Rab,I sent them an e-mail but alas have not had a reply yet, I have seen it advertised somewhere and it was £20.00per night the first week and £19.00per night second week which is reasonable, I found a flight and it would save us around £200 so its worth chasing up,don't you think?.

Hi,
I know it's late to look for good accommodation deals but due to various reasons couldn't do it before.
Anyway, this hotel looks the only reasonable choice but the price seems a bit low ;) It's not that I don't like it, quite the opposite :) But the nest one, MONTEPARAISO (which is sold on many sites at around EUR 700 for 9 days), is twice as expensive. Aquacanis is available on one site only:
http://www.ratestogo.com/Hotel.asp?HotelID=73052&inDate=2007-12-18&outDate=2007-12-27
What do you think? Where's the catch? Feedback on Aquacanis is quite good but the price is surprisingly low for this time.
Cheers!

Stayed at Aquacanis last New Year, I too had a very good price. Complex is ideally located to make the most of the sun's winter angle, gets sun from about 10 a.m. until it sets over the ocean right in front of you. Original descriptive post on this thread is very accurate, would'nt hesitate to stay there once again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers, Tony, I suppose it would be foolish to miss it, especially for such a price ;) I'm just a bit surprised by that IGIC 5% tax. Is it normal to add it on top of the price? I don't remember I saw it explicitly specified previously. It's not a problem, just unusual.
