restaurants

hi guys just wondered what peoples fave restaurants are in pdi. we are off back in june for the 8th time but we tend to stick with the same restaurants and want to branch out and try something new!!! we rnt that fussy in terms of cuisine and will pretty much give anything a go.

also has anyone tried the fish restaurant that is near the yumbo centre? it is practically around the corner from the iguazu appartements, always looks busy but never been in and we are fish lovers but my lazy mates wont travel far for a meal!

Last October, my wife and I had a very nice fish meal at the Los Aguacates Restaurante, Avda Tirajana 2, near the Riu Palace, at PdI. The wine was also good, and the staff and restaurant quite pleasant. It was no expensive, either ! We can recommend this place to you ! :thumb:

El Gaucho is lovely! Went there a lot during our week over in PDI last July. Can't remember the names of any more tho! Sorry! There's an open air restaurant across and down the road from the Corona Roja..or maybe it's the Corona Blanca apartments anyway. That was nice too! :have-fun:

From experience some good restaurants and places to eat are as follows.......

In the Yumbo.....:)

La Candela, Diva's, Plaza, Slow Boat and Tauros (top floor grill house)

There is also a few others outside the Yumbo....

Michaels Show Bar does some nice food and as does the Slow Boat II (oposite Liberty apts).

There's a great Irish place (Flanagans? Finigans?) at the Irish centre (obviously) where I had a great meal. There's also a lovely Cafe bar in the main shopping centre in San Agustin, can't think what it's called now.
