Just checked out the Power FM Cafe today. The official Opening Party is on 29th April at 2pm till 8pm. It is situated on the 2nd floor of Holiday World.
If anyone is out here right now it is well worth the visit. There will be live entertainment.
You can watch the presenters doing "their stuff" Also if you want to do some Karaoke they have a special room where you can do a CD.
Power FM is very good for a far more accurate weather forecast & up to date info on what is going on. You can tune in on 91.7 - 91.9

Apparently the PR Transmitter should be sorted soon.Believe it or not when the studio was just round the corner we had difficulty getting it so had to stream online but now they have moved we are getting a good reception.

Went down to the opening of the Power FM Cafe. A brilliant afternoon with live acts on the stage.
Just to add to the fun they had a raffle - First prize a weekend in Fuerteventura in a 4 star hotel. Guess who one folks - Yours truly. Never been to any of the other islands so it will be a start.:packed:

lucky you ange but honestly stick to gran canaria much better and if you want we will go in your place.

Been down to Holiday world this afternoon. Power FM Cafe is closed. Although they are still transmitting they are obviously doing so from a different studio.

It closed in January Angie, just after they went off air for a week. When they came back on air they'd stopped doing the quiz prizes. We used to go there for lunch and harass Dawnie-D. Don't know where they're transmitting from now.

Power FM are now transmitting from the old Slash FM studio in the Botanic's.
