Please note that there are many steps to each flight of steps. The choices are: A longer walk along the road, or a taxi.

¨The Omar apts¨
Well this complex is just a stroll away from where i live.It is very basic but quite large apartments with large balconys. It will be an escapades(18-30 style) unit in the summer for the more ¨lively¨ holidaymaker.
(i can only imagine it is going to be ¨noisy¨ with an ¨irritating¨ disruption of my peace and quiet)
Joking apart it is not a bad place to stay!

Booked the Omar a while ago for this new yearand a bit concerned it's now an 18-30 establishment. Being a couple in our 40's, don't mind a lively atmosphere as long as its not mayhem! Anybody got any gen on what its like? Will it still be 18-30 at new year?

Just got back from Omar Apartments yesterday. We booked last minute then read reviews about being 18-30's (Escapades). Because of this we tried to change accomodation but glad we did not. We got in about half 3 in the morning and it was really quite. This continued for the duration so I think these bad reviews were individual incidents that could occur in most hotels. Apartments have huge balconys, and are in a good location for beach and comercial center. Up on a hill with a few steps (go to the left when you come out of the entrance) but nice walk down / up or a taxi (less than 3 euro) if cant face the walk. Would book here again without hesitation. Enjoy your hols

Already had my summer holidays this year but staying at Omar apts on October 2nd for a week. Has anyone stayed there or know about it. I've heard the apts are basic but as long as they are clean i'm not too bothered.
