Hi
We stayed at the Green Golf Resort over Christmas and New Year and thoroughly enjoyed it. The excellent apartment was a one bedroomed and the balcony got the sun all day. The pool was quite busy though and it was difficult to get a bed.
The only reason we are not going back this year is because it is a bit of a trek to the shop and the rest of the resort. The on-site shop is OK but preferred going to the SPAR shop down the road. It took about 20 mins downhill - really good but not that good walking back with a bag of shopping!
It was so relaxing and the staff were great. Read reviews before and was concerned about security but never had any problems. The rooms were kept spotless and the cleaning staff never stopped. The whole place is immaculate.
We are going to stay somewhere a bit more central this time but would definitely go back one day. We tend to venture to Los Christianos (as friends are there) and the area of Las Americas where the Mare Rostrum Hotel is so it was a bit far to walk back at night but the taxis were plentiful. The walk down is fine but not back after a few drinks he he he!
Can highly recommend this excellent resort.
Amanda
