George died on the 12th March last due to lung/heart failure. Those of us who seen him on a daily basis could see the deterioration in his health since Dec 05. He also suffered a drug allergy problem which affected his skin and due to the itching he got very little rest especially at night.
We would like to express our thanks especially to the following people for their help and assistance to us during his illness.
To Inga Leroy & Gerhard Brunner, Dr. Anna Popovska who attended George on the night of his death (312 PuertoSol). To our neighbours and friends, especially Colin & Catherine in Puerto Sol. To Clauda Herrarra for her assistance in the Maspalomas Court.
To Dr. Kitty and the staff of the Orininco Clinic for all their care to George over the last three years. To Dr. Paul & Mary Beresford- Jones.
To Anita J. Pavillard and Renate of the British Vice-Consul in Las Palmas
who took us through the mine field of cremations here in the Canaries.

To the owners, staff, customers and friends of the following bars that George worked in and visited most days.
Tropicana (Mac & Zonia)
Red Lion (Mick & Marianna)
Tiffineys where he had his early morning pint and got the latest gossip
(Ellis & Janine)
Crazy Horse, (Gary, Harold, Ronnie & Mandy)
Mersey Bar, (Mel & M0).
Some of Georges ashes were scattered on Sunday 19th March at the Crazy Horse and later at Tauro Beach. He found peace here loved the sun sets at this beach , watching the dogs running about and a pint in
the Pio Pio Bar (Mick, Rosemary & Helen). We put some ashes in a Viceroy cigarette packet with flowers and threw them out to sea at sun set.
The remained of his ashes Lorraine and Stuart took back to England for a service for his family and friends on Sat. 1st April in Enfield with a do in the Turkey .
